# Funding Margin and Copy-trading Strategy accounts

PrimeXBT provides a flexible system allowing users to transfer funds between **any** [**module**](/help-center/f.a.q./frequently-asked-questions.md#what-is-primexbt) of the platform and **all** [**Margin trading accounts**](/help-center/margin-interface/understanding-margin-account-interface.md#account).

## Funding Margin accounts

Below is an example of using the [Exchange](/help-center/deposits-withdrawals/currency-exchange.md) service to fund USDT margin account with Bitcoin from BTC margin account.

### Moving BTC to Wallet for exchange

1️⃣ In order to transfer funds from a BTC [margin trading account](/help-center/margin-interface/understanding-margin-account-interface.md#account) to a USDT account [Wallet](/help-center/home-interface/understanding-home-interface.md#dashboard-sub-section-1) (or between any other Margin trading accounts and account Wallets), navigate to the '[Trade](https://primexbt.com/my/margin/account/account)' section, select the '[Account](/help-center/margin-interface/understanding-margin-account-interface.md#account)' sub-section, and choose the desired Margin trading account:

2️⃣ Once you have selected the desired Margin trading account, click 'Withdraw' button to proceed:

3️⃣ A pop-up menu will appear. Select the desired amount to withdraw, and click the blue 'Transfer' button to confirm:

### Exchanging BTC for USDT

4️⃣ After completing the withdrawal, navigate to the '[Main](https://primexbt.com/my/home/main)' section of your account, and select the 'Exchange' feature:

5️⃣ A pop-up menu will appear. Choose your exchange parameters, and click on the 'Exchange' button:

Once the exchange has been completed, the exchanged amount of USDT will be transferred to the corresponding USDT account Wallet.

### Funding USDT margin account

6️⃣ To further move these funds to your USDT Margin trading account, navigate to the '[Trade](https://primexbt.com/my/margin/account/account)' section, select the '[Account](/help-center/margin-interface/understanding-margin-account-interface.md#account)' sub-section, and choose the USDT Margin trading account:

7️⃣ A pop-up menu will appear. Select the desired amount you wish to transfer, and click on the blue 'Transfer' button:

Once the transfer has been completed, your funds will be reflected on the corresponding USDT Margin trading account in the [Balance](https://primexbt.gitbook.io/help-center/margin-interface/pages/-Lw6hRK7teDS97lUsxFs#4.-trading-account-statistics) section.

## Funding Copy-Trading Strategy accounts

Below is an example of using the [Exchange](/help-center/deposits-withdrawals/currency-exchange.md) service to fund ETH Copy-Trading Strategy account with Bitcoin from BTC account Wallet.

### Exchanging BTC for ETH

1️⃣ Navigate to the '[Main](https://primexbt.com/my/home/main)' section of your account, and select the '[Exchange](/help-center/deposits-withdrawals/currency-exchange.md#how-to-exchange-currencies)' feature:

Once the exchange has been completed, the exchanged amount of ETH will be transferred to the corresponding ETH account Wallet.

### Funding ETH Copy-Trading Strategy account

3️⃣ To further move these funds to your ETH Copy-Trading Strategy account, navigate to the '[Copy-Trading](https://primexbt.com/my/covesting/rating)' section, choose the '[My Strategies](https://primexbt.com/my/covesting/my-strategies)' sub-section, and select your ETH dominated Strategy:

4️⃣ On the ETH Copy-Trading Strategy page, navigate to the 'Strategy Management' section, and click on the blue 'Deposit' button:

5️⃣ A pop-up menu will appear. Select the desired amount of ETH you wish to transfer to the Strategy, and click on the blue 'Transfer' button:

Once the transfer has been completed, the transferred amount of ETH will be added to the Strategy Equity in the '[Strategy Stats](/help-center/covesting/creating-a-fund.md#how-to-manage-your-strategy)' section.
