<figure><img src="/files/OAIC6PLmwSkesgCYUQ6e" alt="" width="339"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once all adjustments are complete, click on the '**Set**' button to apply and confirm the changes.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note that you **cannot adjust leverage for Cross margin positions**, as leverage is **applied automatically** to them. Please refer to the [**Fees & Conditions**](https://primexbt.com/fees) table for leverage and margin requirements.\
\
In order to adjust leverage for the selected position, first, **switch the margin type to Isolated**.
{% endhint %}

By clicking on the 'Stop Loss' or 'Take Profit' (**TP / SL** )pencil icon buttons next to your positions in the **'Positions'** sub-section, you will open a special menu where you can place or remove [protection orders](/help-center/trading-with-primexbt/order-types.md) for your positions:

<figure><img src="/files/pZx6srjorZNg9EeB4YEK" alt="" width="338"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once all adjustments are complete, click on the '**Set**' button to apply and confirm the changes. To remove the Stop Loss or Take Profit orders attached, return to the same menu.

{% hint style="warning" %}

<figure><img src="/files/WTllTHuVJbZ9XsYIaErg" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To close any of your positions, click on the '**market**' button in the right corner of the **Positions** sub-section. You will receive a confirmation pop up menu to proceed with position closure.

{% hint style="warning" %}
When executing additional positions with the same instrument, they are added or reduced to/from the initial position opened regardless of their direction - *Buy* or *Sell*. This is called **position** **Netting.**\
\
For example, if a *Sell* position of 0.5 BTC with BTC/USD instrument is opened, and an additional *Sell* position of 0.5 BTC is executed, it will be added to the initial position resulting in a total of 1 BTC *Sell* position.\
\
And vice-versa. if a *Buy* position of 0.5 BTC with BTC/USD instrument is opened, and an additional *Sell* position of 0.2 is executed, it will reduce the initial position resulting in a total of 0.3 BTC *Buy* position.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
The *Open Price* of such **net positions** is a **weighted average** open price of all positions combined.

\
For example: If a *Buy* position for 1 BTC with the BTC/USD instrument is opened at the price of $20000, and an additional *Buy* position for 1 BTC is executed with the same instrument (BTC/USD) at the price of $30000 - the **net position** will be a total of 2 BTC at the **weighted average** *open price* of $25000.
{% endhint %}
